About Us

Who We Are

Agteq’s aim is to deliver real-time, data-driven insights for today’s agriculture. We bring value with AI that optimizes crop yields, reduces resource waste, and implements sustainable practices tailored to each farm’s unique needs. Turning data into actionable knowledge, we empower agronomists and farmers to make informed decisions, paving the way for a smarter, greener agricultural future.

Our Vision

Agteq was founded in 2023 to bridge a crucial gap in agriculture: the need for digital transformation grounded in sustainability. We recognize the immense potential of AI in agriculture and strive to harness it to benefit the entire agricultural cycle. Our mission extends beyond providing expert-level tools; we aim to deliver real-time, actionable insights that serve all stakeholders – from farmers to governments. With our technology as their compass, we guide our users through data-driven decision-making, fostering a well-rounded, informed, and sustainable agricultural ecosystem. Our vision is fueled by continuous feedback from those on the ground, ensuring our path forward is always aligned with the needs and growth of our community. We’re not just developing technology; we’re nurturing a cycle of constant improvement, driven by the collective voice of our users. At Agteq, your feedback is our ‘North Star,’ guiding us toward a future where innovation and transparency yield a bountiful harvest for all.

Sustainable to the Core

At Agteq, sustainability isn’t just a goal, it’s a guiding principle. By intelligently managing resources and optimizing farming techniques, we aim to make a lasting impact on the planet and its people. In line with our commitment to a greener future, we are aware of the significant challenges laid out by the World Research Institute (WRI). The WRI has identified three critical “gaps” that require urgent attention to ensure a sustainable future by 2050. Agteq’s mission is aligned with these global imperatives, and our solutions are designed to address these gaps head-on:

The Food Gap

The food gap will require us to produce 56% more crop calories than we produced in 2010.

Increasing the efficiency of natural resources is the single most crucial step towards meeting global food production demands and environmental objectives. At Agteq, we are Leveraging AI for precision agriculture, to significantly boost crop production while minimizing waste. Our technology ensures higher crop yields using fewer resources, making a substantial contribution to bridging the global food gap.

The Land Gap

In the year 2050, it is expected that we will need an area twice the size of India to produce enough food to feed the world’s population if we keep making food in the same way that we do today. To close the land gap, we must improve the way in which food is being produced.

Our AI technology enhances farming methods to increase yield per hectare, reducing the need to expand agricultural land and helping preserve natural ecosystems.

GHG Mitigation Gap

Under current policies, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are projected to reach approximately 44 gigatons by 2050. To revert to pre-industrial temperatures, we must aim for an ambitious maximum of 11 gigatons, in line with the 1.5-degree policy scenario. Agteq’s AI solutions are designed to address this by enhancing sustainable agricultural practices, reducing reliance on heavy machinery, optimizing fertilizer use to curtail nitrous oxide emissions, and supporting soil health to promote carbon sequestration through advanced crop rotation.
